Lead Pastor
Doug & Crystal Johnson

Pastors Doug and Crystal Johnson have been married for 32 years. They were both called into ministry as teenagers and have been ministering for 35 years in the Assemblies of God-- 24 of those years as a senior/lead pastors. They've been blessed with one daughter: Lauren Daniel (who is also an ordained minister and the KMN Women’s Ministries Director) And one son: Corey Johnson who is currently attending LECOM (Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine) in Erie, PA studying to become a doctor. Lauren has been married to her husband Ben Daniel for 9 years. They live in Ashland, KY and they have one son Xander.

Youth Pastor 
Jeremy Draper

Pastor Jeremy serves our students, 6th-12th grade, as Youth Pastor of Timothy Project. Called to Ministry as a teenager at Youth Camp, youth group has always played a pivotal role in his life. Pastor Jeremy is passionate about students encountering God in a real way.  He often says, "student's are not the Church of tomorrow, but they are the Church of today."

He has a degree in Youth Ministry from Central Bible College and several years of youth ministry experience. Pastor Jermey and Wife, Lauren approach ministry as a team and family with their three young children. 

Children's Pastor
 Patsy Dennis

Pastor Patsy Dennis is our children's pastor and has over 55 years experience in children's ministry. She is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and she also serves as the KY Assemblies of God District children's director. She has been married to her husband, Larry, for over 50 years. They raised 3 children, and have 3 grandchildren. Patsy was presented the Legacy Award at the National Children's Conference as well as the National Award for Excellence in children's ministry. She is deserving of every award she receives but the kids at First Assembly just know and love her as Miss Patsy!

Worship Pastor 
Caleb Metzenberg

Caleb Metzenberg is our Worship Pastor here at LFA. Caleb chases after God's heart as he leads others in worship through his love for Jesus and his deep passion for music and ministry. In 2022, Caleb graduated from Asbury University with a Bachelor’s in Worship Arts. Along with leading worship, he is dedicated to writing and producing original music that glorifies God. Caleb enjoys serving in ministry along side his wife Alea, and they are thrilled to introduce their first baby to the world in April 2025.

School Principal
Heather Gibbons

Heather Gibbons is our school's Principal. She has a bachelor's degree in Family Consumer Sciences Education from Morehead State University and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University.  Mrs. Gibbons has a well rounded background in education.  Mrs. Gibbons has a long history on this campus.  She has been a member of Lexington First Assembly of God since 2001. Because of her passion for Summit Christian Academy, Mrs. Gibbons joined the SCA School Board in 2019 and has served as the secretary of the School Board since that time.

Preschool Director 
Rachel Osborne

Rachel Osborne came on board in 2020 as our school and church preschool director.  Rachel has worked as a children's pastor in various churches for 7 years. She has worked with Girls Ministries, JBQ and church wide children events. She has also worked in the Louisville public school system for several years. She is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and currently serves as the KY Assemblies of God Fun Arts Director.  She and her husband, Scott, have two adult sons.
