Lead Pastor
Doug & Crystal Johnson
Pastors Doug and Crystal Johnson have been married for 34 years. They were both called into ministry as teenagers and have been ministering for 38 years in the Assemblies of God-- 26 of those years as Senior/Lead pastors. They've been blessed with one daughter: Lauren Daniel (who is also an ordained minister and the KMN Women’s Ministries Director) And one son: Corey Johnson who is currently doing his residency as an E.R. doctor at Case Western Hospital in Cleveland, OH. Lauren has been married to her husband Ben Daniel for 11 years. They live in Ashland, KY and they have two sons: Xander and Theo.
Tim and Maria have hearts for missions and for reaching the younger generations. They have been on several missions trips. Tim is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Southern Latin Theological Institute. He has over 11 years of youth and children’s ministry experience including: BGMC Head Leader, Youth Leader, VBS Missions Teacher and Missions Team Leader.
Maria was born in Nicaragua and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Nicaragua Polytechnic University and is also a graduate of Southern Latin Theological Institute. She has many years of experience in Youth and Children’s ministry in NH, AL, and KY.
Tim & Maria Jury
Youth Leaders
Tina has a clear calling to children's ministry. She has been a Children's Pastor in Indiana and has served in various ministries at Lexington First Assembly for many years including Children's Ministry leader, Junior Bible Quiz, VBS outreach, Convoy of Hope mission trip, BGMC, Missionettes, and musical productions as well as serving as Secretary on the Mission Board and engaged in community outreach. Her family has been active at LFA for over 30 years with her four children raised in the church and her youngest daughter currently enrolled in Summit Christian Academy. She is a Licensed minister with the Assembly of God and will be completing ordination in the Spring of 2027. Tina is a doctorate student in ministry with Life Christian University and has been working with All God's Children foster care and community outreach for years as an independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.
