Lead Pastor
Doug & Crystal Johnson
Pastors Doug and Crystal Johnson have been married for 34 years. They were both called into ministry as teenagers and have been ministering for 38 years in the Assemblies of God-- 26 of those years as Senior/Lead pastors. They've been blessed with one daughter: Lauren Daniel (who is also an ordained minister and the KMN Women’s Ministries Director) And one son: Corey Johnson who is currently doing his residency as an E.R. doctor at Case Western Hospital in Cleveland, OH. Lauren has been married to her husband Ben Daniel for 11 years. They live in Ashland, KY and they have two sons: Xander and Theo.
Children's Ministry
At LFA, we believe that ministry to children is one of the most important things we do. Our 1st Kids ministry is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where every child is known, loved, valued, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Our accredited teachers and dedicated volunteers serve together to make each child’s experience meaningful, engaging, and age-appropriate. They are more than classroom helpers—they are mentors, encouragers, prayer partners, and examples of what it looks like to follow Jesus.
Worship Pastor
Caleb Metzenberg
Caleb Metzenberg is our Worship Pastor. Caleb chases after God's heart as he leads others in worship through his love for Jesus and his deep passion for music and ministry. In 2022, Caleb graduated from Asbury University with a Bachelor’s in Worship Arts. Along with leading worship, he is dedicated to writing and producing original music that glorifies God. Caleb enjoys serving in ministry alongside his wife Alea. They have been married for 5 years and they have one daughter: Acacia.
