LFA Ministries
Lexington First Assembly believes, and acts out our belief, for age appropriate ministry through offering various additional ministry opportunities outside of our Sunday Morning Service. It is our prayer that you would find yourself not just a part of a Church, but of a community that aims to edify and support each other through this life.
1st Kids

Our 1st Kids Ministry exists to help children build a strong foundation of faith through biblical truth, worship, prayer, discipleship, and genuine community.
We offer age-appropriate ministry opportunities for children from birth through 5th grade. On Sundays, nursery and preschool environments provide safe and loving care, while Kindergarten–5th grade gather in the Ministry Center for engaging worship, Bible teaching, and interactive learning experiences.
We believe children are capable of knowing God deeply, understanding His Word, and developing a real relationship with Him at an early age. Rather than offering watered-down truth, we are passionate about teaching the Gospel in a way that is both meaningful and foundational—equipping the next generation to know, love, and follow Jesus for a lifetime.
Timothy Project Student Ministries

Timothy Project is the Student Ministry of Lexington First Assembly of God for students in 6th–12th grade. More than just a weekly gathering, Timothy Project exists to help students build lasting relationships with God, with others, and with the purpose God has placed on their lives.

We believe the teenage years are some of the most formative and influential years in a person’s life. In a world where identity, belonging, pressure, and comparison constantly compete for attention, our desire is to point students back to the truth of who God says they are. Through worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, community, and authentic relationships, we aim to create a place where students are known, encouraged, challenged, and spiritually grounded.

Timothy Project meets every Wednesday night from 7:00–8:30 PM in the Ministry Center. Our heart is to raise up a generation of young people who boldly live out their faith, love others well, and confidently walk in their God-given calling.

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."
1 Timothy 4:12
Bible Quiz

Bible Quiz is a fun and engaging ministry that helps children build a strong biblical foundation through Scripture memorization, Bible study, and friendly team competition. Junior Bible Quiz is for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade and Teen Bible Quiz is for students 7th grade-up. As kids learn God's Word, they grow in their faith, develop Christlike character, and discover how to apply biblical truth to their everyday lives. Bible Quiz also encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and lasting Christian friendships, helping children learn God's Word, love it, live it, and lead with it. Teams participate in monthly quiz matches throughout the season, giving students the opportunity to put what they've learned into action while growing alongside their peers. Many of our Bible Quiz teams have gone on to national competitions.
Women's Ministry & Men's Ministry

Our Men's and Women's Ministries are designed to help adults grow in their relationship with Christ while building authentic community with one another. Through monthly gatherings, Bible studies, special events, and opportunities to serve, these ministries provide a welcoming place to connect, find encouragement, build lasting friendships, and be discipled alongside others who are pursuing Jesus. No matter your stage of life, you'll find opportunities to grow in your faith and become part of a supportive church family.
Grief Share

GriefShare is a caring, Christ-centered support group for anyone navigating the loss of a loved one. In this welcoming 13-week program, you'll find encouragement, practical tools, and a community of people who understand the unique journey of grief. Through biblical teaching, discussion, and support, participants learn healthy ways to cope with loss while discovering hope and healing one step at a time. GriefShare is led by Andrea Stauter. For more information or to join an upcoming group, please contact Andrea.
Young at Heart (50+)

Young at Heart is our senior adult ministry for anyone ages 50 and older, where no one is too old to be young at heart—or to continue living the life God has called them to. Meeting at least once a month, this ministry provides opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, and meaningful connection through luncheons, special events, day trips, and memorable gatherings—including favorites like Senior Prom! Whether you're looking to build new friendships, stay active, or simply enjoy doing life with others, Young at Heart is a welcoming place to grow in faith, find community, and have fun together.
